We are a community-oriented team. Our focus is on changing our land.
We live out in Kajiado, Machakos, Makueni and Kitui. Hence KHS-LE (Lower Eastern).

We are a referal community and not open to the public unless by referal from one of our members. We safeguard our security this way as we meet in our homes.

We meet 6 times in a year and have 7 chapters based on our community members locations. Each member belongs to a chapter who also meet up and support a school within their community as well as connect with each other in the community. We thus have 7 additional WhatsApp groups by chapter with chapter leads.

KHS-LE was initiated in 2019 by Dr. Monica Kerretts-Makau and her husband Mark Makau. The first meeting was held in April 2019 at their home. 2026 celebrates 7 AGMs and a growth that continues to focus on community.
